FAQ - Najczęściej zadawane pytania

1. WHAT IS THE FEE FOR A CONDITIONAL ENTRY AND WHAT DOES IT ENTAIL?

The fee for a conditional entry is currently PLN 250 for each uncompleted course. Any uncompleted course will be taken in the subsequent semester and you must pass such a course in that semester.

2. HOW MANY TIMES CAN I TAKE LEAVE FROM CLASSES AND HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

A student may apply for a leave of absence if he or she has completed the first year of study. In special cases, he or she may be granted leave after completing the first semester. The application for a leave of absence should be addressed to the DSW University Dean and the need for an interruption in the course of study should be duly justified. During the leave of absence, the student retains his/her student rights, but does not pay any fees and cannot benefit from material aid for students at the University (scholarships, grants). A leave of absence is granted from the date the student applies to the Registrar's Office.

A student applying for a leave of absence must take into account the fact that after completing the leave and re-entering the study programme, it may be necessary to make up curricular differences. A student returning from a leave of absence is bound by the curriculum followed by the year in which he/she is returning. If this curriculum differs from the curriculum previously followed by the student - differences will arise.

A downloadable application for a leave of absence can be found on this page in the "Documents for Download" section.
