We are a responsible university. We know that study that is not applied in practice and later in the professional setting may not be appealing to students. That is why, in developing our original study programmes, we work together with practitioners, experts in many fields and regional employers. Close contact with the business community, educational institutions, psychological counselling centres, new technology clusters, editorial offices, publishing houses or state institutions means that our students gain up-to-date knowledge and the skills sought after by employers.

Companies and institutions are partners for us in many ways. They affect not only the study programmes but also the locations and the way in which work placement is carried out.Professionals from various industries often visit students in class or hold interesting meetings, training sessions, workshops and classes in specialisation subjects, sharing their many years of experience. They are an important part of our university community - it is thanks to them that ULS is a place for the flow of knowledge, fresh insights and innovative opinions.

With the business partnership, our students can also take advantage of the work placements, traineeships and jobs offered by the Career Office, and at job fairs, they can meet representatives of employers and discuss their expectations and offers.
