25th anniversary of ULS!

The University of Lower SIlesia has been associated with Wrocław and the region for 25 years!

The university was founded by the regional branch of the Society for Shared Knowledge in Wrocław, which, together with a group of Wrocław academics, established the University of Lower Silesia. Currently, ULS is a thriving centre with an established academic and pedagogical position in higher education, educating more than 7,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students each year.

For 17 years, ULS has been ranked first among Lower Silesian non-public universities, according to the "Perspektywy" ranking, 2022.

It all began in 1997...

... when the university was authorised to offer bachelor's degree programmes in pedagogy and special education. Since 1999, the range of courses has been expanded to include International Relations and Journalism as well as Social Communication, and in 2001, a single Master's degree and a supplementary degree in Education were added to the offer.

Today, ULS is a thriving centre with an established academic and pedagogical position in higher education. It has more than 30,000 graduates, with the number of undergraduate and postgraduate students expected to exceed 7,000 in 2022. The education offered at ULS includes 27 undergraduate degree programmes, second degree programmes and unified master's degree programmes, as well as more than 90 postgraduate programmes. Subjects taught include education, psychology, homeland security, administration, human resources, journalism, surveying and cartography, dietetics, cosmetology, management, information technology, creative media ... and many others.
